Storm Wax Block Bait 50g
$13.00
The Storm Wax Block is a powerful anticoagulant rodenticide designed to eliminate rats and mice with just a single feeding.
Description
Key features
- Highly effective: Flocoumafen is a potent second-generation anticoagulant that is highly effective against rodents, including those that are resistant to other rodenticides.
- Single feed kill: A lethal dose can be consumed by a rodent in a single feeding. Death occurs within several days, which prevents bait shyness and makes the bait more effective.
- Palatable and durable: The bait is made from compressed cereal grain with a low wax content to ensure high acceptance by rodents, even when other food sources are available. The blocks also contain a fungicide to prevent mold growth in damp conditions.
- Securable design: The blocks feature a central hole, allowing them to be easily secured in bait stations on nails or wire. This prevents rodents from removing and hoarding the blocks.
- Professional use: The product is primarily intended for professional pest controllers and is approved for use in and around buildings (including burrows) and sewers.
How to use
For safe and effective application, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the product label.
- Bait placement: Place the blocks in suitable locations, such as along rodent runs, in active burrows, or under rubbish. In buildings, place them in sheltered areas inaccessible to children and pets, such as under floors, in ceiling cavities, and behind furniture.
- Bait stations: Always use the bait inside secure bait stations to protect non-target animals, pets, and children. The block’s central hole is for securing it inside the station.
- Dosage: For mice, place 1-2 blocks every 1-2 meters. For rats, place 2-3 blocks every 5-10 meters.
- Inspection: Check bait locations frequently and replace any eaten blocks. Continue baiting until all signs of rodent activity have ceased.
Important safety information
- Poisonous: The product is poisonous if swallowed. It is hazardous to humans, pets, and wildlife.
- Protective equipment: Wear elbow-length PVC gloves when handling the bait. Wash your hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water after use.
- Disposal: Dispose of unused bait, empty containers, and dead rodents according to local regulations. Do not place dead rodents in household refuse bins.
- Antidote: Vitamin K1 is the antidote for poisoning. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor or a Poisons Information Centre immediately.
