Nu–Film® P is an organic agricultural spreader-sticker adjuvant that forms a protective film on foliage to improve the efficacy and longevity of insecticides, fungicides, and foliar fertilizers.
Description
- Function: Nu-Film products act as a superior sticker and extender, enhancing the contact, wetting, and adhesion of agricultural sprays on plant surfaces.
- Film Formation: The product polymerizes on the leaf surface to form a soft, elastic film that tenaciously holds the spray residue, even after rainfall or overhead irrigation. This film becomes rain-resistant about 60 minutes after drying in sunlight.
- Protection: The film shields the active chemicals from environmental factors that degrade them, such as rain erosion, volatility, and ultraviolet (UV) light degradation, maximizing their effective life.
- Ingredients: The active ingredient is Pinolene® (poly-1-p-menthene), a natural, biodegradable polymer derived from pine resin.
- Usability: It is designed to be easily miscible with water, will not foam or clog nozzles, and can be used with various ground or aircraft sprayers.
- Organic Status: Nu-Film P is certified as compliant for use in organic crop production in the US and other countries, as it is derived from natural resin.
