Description

Bellis® 38 WG is a high-performance, broad-spectrum fungicide developed by BASF to combat challenging plant diseases in high-value fruits, field crops, and vegetables. Featuring two complementary active ingredients—Boscalid (FRAC Group 7) and Pyraclostrobin (FRAC Group 11)—it acts systemically and on contact to inhibit spore germination and mycelial growth while helping prevent resistance buildup.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Dual Active Protection: Combines Pyraclostrobin and Boscalid for multi-site, systemic and contact action.

  • Preventive & Curative: Stops spore germination prior to infection and stops existing fungal growth.

  • Broad Disease Spectrum: Effective against scab, powdery mildew, downy mildew, botrytis, alternaria, and black spot.

  • Resistance Management: Merges FRAC Group 7 and 11 modes of action to delay fungicide resistance.

  • Easy Handling: Formulated as dust-free water-dispersible granules (WG) for quick dissolution and application.

Target Diseases

  • Powdery Mildew (Erysiphe spp., Podosphaera spp.)

  • Scab / Black Spot (Venturia spp.)

  • Alternaria Leaf Spot & Blight (Alternaria spp.)

  • Botrytis / Grey Mould (Botrytis cinerea)

  • Downy Mildews & Anthracnose

Application Instructions & Dosage

  • General Recommended Rate: 30 g to 75 g per 100 L of water (or approx. 5–10 g per 15 L knapsack sprayer, depending on crop type and disease pressure).

  • Mixing Instructions: Fill spray tank halfway with clean water. Pre-mix the required quantity of Bellis® 38 WG in a small amount of water to create a smooth slurry, then pour into the main tank under agitation. Fill to full volume.

  • Timing: Apply preventively before disease onset or at the very first sign of infection. Repeat applications every 10–14 days as needed.
