The Terro Liquid Ant Killer 6pk Bait Station is a ready-to-use indoor solution for eliminating common household ants. The pre-filled bait stations use borax as the active ingredient to attract foraging ants, which then carry the bait back to the colony to kill the queen and destroy the nest.

How it works
The product is designed to eliminate the entire colony, not just the ants you see.
- Attraction: Ants are drawn to the sweet liquid bait inside the station.
- Slow-acting formula: The borax-based formula is designed to be slow-acting, giving the worker ants enough time to carry it back and share it with the rest of the colony before they are killed.
- Colony elimination: By sharing the bait with other ants and the queen, the entire colony is eliminated at its source over the course of several days.
- Temporary increase in ants: When you first place the baits, you may see more ants as they are attracted to the liquid. This is a normal part of the process and a sign that the bait is working.
How to use
The bait stations are ready to use and do not require scissors to open.
- Prepare the area: For best results, remove other food sources, such as crumbs or sugar, from the area to ensure ants are drawn to the bait.
- Open the station: Hold the station vertically with the tab facing up. Twist and snap off the tab to open the entry point for ants.
- Place the stations: Set the stations on a flat surface near ant trails or where you have seen ants. Common placement areas include along baseboards, under appliances, and on windowsills.
- Monitor and replace: Leave the stations undisturbed while the ants are feeding. Replace the stations once the bait is depleted.
- Long-term prevention: Once the initial infestation is controlled, replace the baits every 3 months to prevent ants from returning.
