Premium Coconut Coir Husk Chips for Healthy Root Growth

Our Coco Chips Block 5kg provides an eco-friendly, high-performance growing medium designed to transform your soil structure and plant health. Made from washed, compressed coconut husks, these uniform coir chips deliver the ideal balance of air porosity and water retention. Whether you are growing delicate orchids, establishing vibrant garden beds, or creating a comfortable reptile habitat, this versatile block offers a natural, sustainable solution.

Key Benefits:

  • Superior Aeration & Drainage: The coarse texture prevents soil compaction, ensuring plant roots receive essential oxygen while allowing excess water to drain freely.

  • High Moisture Retention: Holds water efficiently and releases it gradually, reducing the frequency of watering required for your plants.

  • Long-Lasting & Durable: Decomposes at a much slower rate than traditional bark mulch, retaining its structural integrity for years.

  • 100% Eco-Friendly & Sustainable: Derived from renewable coconut husks, making it a renewable alternative to peat moss.

  • Multi-Purpose Substrate: Highly recommended for orchids, bromeliads, aroids, tropical plants, hydroponics, soil conditioning, outdoor mulching, and pet bedding.

How to Use:

  1. Hydrate: Place the compressed 5kg block into a large container or bucket.

  2. Add Water: Gradually pour warm or room-temperature water over the block. Allow it to absorb the water and expand fully for 15 to 20 minutes.

  3. Loosen & Apply: Fluff the expanded chips by hand. Mix them directly into potting soils, use them as a standalone orchid medium, or spread them across garden beds as a protective mulch layer[
